This feature allows to execute custom commands during backup in addition to the device-specific commands built in Unimus.

Flows can be assigned to a specific vendor, device type or tag, similar to backup filters. During the backup flow creation process, is possible to create the entire flow in a sequential form. Each step represents a particular command that must be defined by the user. For each “Send command” step is possible to define the behavior that will be executed in case the command fails.

  • Skips failed step

  • Fails the whole backup

In addition to commands, steps can be added to a flow to set the device to configuration or enable mode, and up to one of these can be added per flow.

The delay between each "Send command" step is also configurable

Conflicts

Due to the fact that a flow can be assigned to devices via vendor, device type, or tag, it can potentially lead to a situation where a single device is assigned more than one "Backup Flow". In such situation system will resolve a conflict by executing default commands build in Unimus. To check if the conflict is presented on device you can navigate from selected device to Device Info > Backup Flow where in the table are displayed all flows which devices is assigned to.
